Farne Islands – Northumberland

On the 15th June 2014…

We were looking forward to our trip to the Farne Islands. This year it didn’t disappoint. The sea was calm, and the weather dry, which makes all the difference.

The boat trip was relaxing, with lots of nearby Grey Seal’s and seabirds. Arctic and Common Tern’s often came to investigate us.

The islands and sea were full with Auk’s; Guillemot’s, Puffin’s and some Razorbill’s.

There was not many Gannet’s around today.

On the island, the Arctic Tern’s were very friendly, and our heads, were very popular, as always.
